Happy Holidays!
To ensure staff can enjoy the holidays with their loved ones, offices and health centers will be closed or have different hours.

Health centers and offices are closed on November 28th, 29th, and 30th*.
*Saturday, November 30th: The Melrose Family Health Center Pharmacy will be open for pickup and delivery only.

Health centers and offices will be closed* from December 25th through January 1st, 2025. 
*December 26th through December 31st, Melrose Family Health Center will be open during the holiday with select services: 

Call Center, Primary Care, and Dental will be open on December 26th, 27th, 30th, and 31st from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Melrose Family Health Center Pharmacy will be open for pickup and delivery on December 26th, 27th, 30th, and 31st from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Beverly Health Center Pharmacy will only be open for pickup and delivery on Monday, December 30th.

SABAN COMMUNITY CLINIC HONORS CASEY BLOYS, HBO AND MAX CONTENT CHAIRMAN AND CEO; DAVID EILENBERG, ROKU HEAD OF CONTENT; AND HAYDEN MEYER, IAG EXECUTIVE VP, AT THE 48TH ANNUAL DINNER GALA

BEVERLY HILLS, CA - November 12, 2024 – Friends and supporters from the entertainment industry gathered to honor Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO and Max Content, David Eilenberg, Roku’s Head of Content, and Hayden Meyer, Executive VP & Department Head of the Independent Artist Group, for their philanthropic efforts in advancing health equity in Los Angeles. Comedian and talk show host, Conan O’Brien, served as Master of Ceremonies for the gala at The Maybourne Beverly Hills on November 11th, 2024, raising over $2 million in support of Saban Community Clinic’s pediatric mental health program. The evening also featured a musical performance from Billboard charting singer-songwriter, Stephen Sanchez.

Emmy award-winning actress Laura Dern introduced longtime friend Bloys who received the Leadership Award. In his acceptance speech, Bloys shared the Clinic’s profound impact on patients who live below the Federal Poverty Line. “This past year, 24,000 of our neighbors in Los Angeles who are just making ends meet were able to get access to basic medical, dental, and mental health care because of the hard work and devotion of the Saban clinic staff, the board of directors and you, the donors. I can think of no better use of our time and resources than keeping a vulnerable population of our city physically and mentally healthy.”

Both Meyer and Eilenberg were honored with The Lenny Somberg Award. Eilenberg, the longtime member of the Friends of Saban Community Clinic Board, highlighted the connection between the entertainment industry and the mission of Saban. “So many of us are here in this community, in this industry, in the first place, because we know there’s nothing better than a great story and the notion that there are so many thousands of real-life great stories that all begin with a first step through the Clinic’s doors keeps me motivated to do whatever it takes to keep those doors open and this organization thriving.”

It’s time to protect yourself from RSV, COVID-19, and the Flu

Anyone, even healthy people, can get sick from respiratory illnesses such as respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and COVID-19,  but some people are at high risk of developing serious complications including:
-people 65 years old and older
-pregnant women and recently 
-people with chronic medical conditions (including asthma, diabetes, heart disease, or HIV)

What: Get your flu shot* with an updated COVID-19, or a respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine at the same time.

Who: Adults, 18 years and older. 
For pediatric vaccines, please use the chat feature below to request an appointment with a pediatrician. 

How: Request an appointment at 323-653-1990 or chat with us using the chat feature at the bottom. If you have an upcoming medical appointment, your provider can also offer a vaccine.
- Limited walk-in appointments from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on the dates listed.
- Please bring your photo ID and insurance card.

*If you would like to get a single flu shot, please schedule an appointment with your medical provider. 

Did you know: Everyone aged 6 months and older should receive a flu vaccine as soon as it becomes available each fall. Since the influenza virus changes each year, it's important to get a new vaccine every year.
